Our Criw Cymraeg comprises of pupils from Year 3, 4, 5 and 6. The pupils have an opportunity to apply to be part of the Criw Cymraeg and these are reviewed by Mr. Thomas. Successful candidates meet every Monday with Mr. Thomas to discuss their targets.

Criw Cymraeg members are pupils who are enthusiastic about the Welsh language and want to inspire others.
Responsibilities
As a member of Criw Cymraeg the responsibilities include:
Leading Helpwr Heddiw sessions
Promoting Welsh speaking in class and around the school
Be excellent role models for others
Encourage pupils to visit the 'Cornel Cymraeg' to speak Welsh on the playground
Share the 'Brawddeg yr Wythnos' during Merit Assembly each week and promote it on digital platforms
Awarding weekly certificates to pupils who have worked hard to use the language patterns of the week
Meet weekly to discuss targets and projects with Mr. Thomas
Support younger pupils to learn simple phrases and play Welsh games
Encourage pupils to enjoy reading Welsh books
Share Welsh books with younger pupils.
